The cozy suite at Da Temperì sits at the highest point of the ancient village of Quintodecimo, overlooking rooftops of weathered bricks and offering a breathtaking view of the rolling green hills of the Monti della Laga. A place that calls to hikers, nature lovers, and cyclists—but also to those seeking an escape from the city’s chaos, dreaming of some fresh air and the true rhythm of the seasons.
The Suite
With a kitchen, a private bathroom with a shower, a cozy bedroom, and a terrace with a dining table overlooking lush greenery, Da Temperì has everything 2 guests need for a few days of pure nature.
Quintodecimo
The roots of the small village of Quintodecimo, with its stone houses and winding alleys, stretch back to Roman times. Today, historical landmarks like the Roman arch of the bridge, painted by the monk-painter Augusto Mussini, bear witness to its vibrant past. Perched at an altitude of around 500 meters, Quintodecimo is embraced by lush forests and crystal-clear streams, overlooking the Tronto River, which originates in the Monti della Laga.
Seasons
Here in the mountains, each season brings its own harvest, scents, celebrations, and tasks. Those who choose to spend a few days at Da Temperì become part of country life—enjoying fresh eggs from our hens, vegetables and fruit from our garden, and long walks where, depending on the season, they might gather wild asparagus, cherries, figs, blackberries, grapes, porcini mushrooms, or chestnuts along the trail.
